HAPPY CNY! (:Nice bright red colour for the festive season!Yesterday was a dinner with my father's side, which was not impressive considering that it was at Paragon's Crystal Jade and the dinner cost...a bomb.
So went for two movies at Cine and we ate at the Hk cafe inbetween. I ate Century egg porridge and noodles whenever possible, cos i was feeling hungry ( although i cant differentiate my hunger pangs well from my greed :D )
Today, yummmmmmmmmmmyyy popiah at my ahma's house, with yummmmmmmmmmmmmmmyyyyy chicken curry cooked by my uncle. Omgosh it was so good, and even though i had abit of cramps i just gobbled my way through, ignoring the pain.
This yr's haul of money..isn't very much :(
Everyone seems to be in a very kiamsiap mood.
Its funny how even family cant trust each other.
I mean, if you cant even trust your own kin, seriously, who have you got out there?
I think its so true and i quote my uncle , i love my grandma but i dont respect her. I think she can be a real *beep*. All the bitching and backstabbing and creating ill feelings, whats she trying to do? Mainly, its more of my aunties that keep speaking ill about my uncles and aunties.
But they already drove one family out of the reunion, are they out to kick everyone else too?
I really dont like my extended family, except for my HA's family, and well, yt's one too.
All the ignorance, the irresponsibilities, the backstabbing, the neglect...
I hate to admit it but sometimes, It's so unhealthy to be with them.
Ok.
I should stop bitching.
Its a festive period and i should be feeling prosperous and everything to do with abalones and sharkfin.
(Btw im not for sharkfin! I think the methods are cruel, but if someone offers me a bowl, im not so stupid as to turn the offer down)
I hope wj had a good time shopping and bonding with her apartment mate! :D
